In Ubud, and with his friends had surrounded the aura of Nyepi since long ago. Many artists Ubud membuah ogoh-ogoh around them. It was obviously curious. "Finally, last night they 'live'!" says Dan. He was very enthusiastic ogoh-ogoh parade around the city last night.
"They brought a giant mnster scary and creepy in a carnival procession can match-carnival in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil!" said Dan commented enthusiastically.
He continued, the atmosphere he felt very excited. Young and old took to the streets. "It was all Balinese costume and come out to enjoy the celebration of amazing," said Dan again.
Aura was immediately changed drastically today. Bali suddenly silent. Everybody meditate, reflect, and pray in each other's homes. "Dogs do not bark, the chicken was not crowed, even planes do not fly in and out of the island," he said."It's beautiful and unique!"
And myself were in a villa with his friends. Although not celebrate Nyepi, they continue to respect the Balinese by not making noise and out of the house.
"Today we do not go out, put on some music, sit in cafes, or other unusual behavior Caucasians do," he said. Fortunately, they already have a supply of food, so do not starve in the villa. They even come to enjoy the silence in Bali.
"For us, this is also an opportunity to reflect on the most beautiful island on Earth. We are honored to be able to enjoy this paradise island along with the local people. Happy New Year!"
